Taisuke Ishikawa, Lecturer

Research Interest

I studied veterinary medicine at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and was impressed with the involvement of genetic factors in the phenotypes in human and animals. Upon graduating from university, I joined the molecular pathogenesis laboratory (Prof. Akinori Kimura) at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and searched for the novel arrhythmia-causative genes, which intensely developed the passion for deciphering the pathomechanisms based on the genetic factors. Now, I am going to clarify the pathomechanisms of the inherited arrhythmia from the multifaceted viewpoints with the colleagues who have different backgrounds.
